Salmon Savers (ELEM)

Service Description

The threatened Salmon will be our feature creature for this camp. This camp is designed to cultivate natural curiosity, adventure, group play and imagination for the young child. Everything will take place in the forests or on the shores surrounding the magnificent Salish Sea. ​On the first day of camp students will adopt the feature creature plushy. This will be theirs to “protect” as they learn, play, and explore together. Salmon Savers includes a special trip with Island Express​​ Charters to James Island. James Island features emerald coves, forested trails, spectacular views and an isthmus with two white sand beaches! One family member/guardian is required to be in attendance with each student. During the week your child will also enjoy: Forest to shore hiking adventures Tidal pool exploration Ecofriendly art projects Mindfulness in nature Service learning with beach cleanup 12:3 student-to-teacher ratio Camp t-shirt ​​Note: Lunch is not included, students will need to bring their own lunches, water, and snacks each day. Students must be able to use the bathroom independently.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of any cancellation, regardless of when the cancellation is initiated, the credit card processing fee will not be refunded (3%). Cancellation Refunds vary by course: Spring, Fall, and Winter Programs: if cancelled 5 days prior to the course, the class fee will be refunded to you, less the credit card processing fee (3%). If cancelled any time after that, there will not be a refund for this course. Summer Programs: Cancellations 91+ days prior to session start date = Refundable less CC processing fees & $150 deposit Cancellations between 61 and 90 days prior to session start date = Refundable less CC processing fees & 50% fee of full tuition Cancellations between 0 and 60 days prior to session start date = non-refundable Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather or personal emergencies. All cancellations must be submitted in writing and must be received in the above time frames. ____ The Pulse: There are no refunds available for our virtual continuing education program.
