Free Family Program | One parent or caregiver required per child
Ignite a love of nature and scientific discovery in preschoolers (3 years - PreK-5) through joyful, play-based exploration of various creatures in the Salish Sea ecosystem. Other aged children are welcome but the program is designed for preschoolers.
Designed for young learners (3 years - PreK-5) and their parent/s/caregivers this program invites families to learn, play and explore together. Each month, children will meet a different creature of the Salish Sea through the Salish Sea School Big Book (featuring the monthly creature) hands-on activities, games, and outdoor exploration—turning curiosity into connection and early environmental stewardship.
We are deeply passionate about introducing children and their families to the incredible classroom right outside our doorstep. Our hope is that Family Barnacle Buddies sparks a lifelong love, connection, and care for the Salish Sea.
