These surveys are open to all, from seasoned birders to curious newcomers, offering a hands-on conservation experience. By joining, participants not only help protect the Marbled Murrelet but also contribute to preserving the biodiversity of the Salish Sea.


Everyone is welcome, experience conducting bird surveys (or even bird identification) is not required. Stay for as long or short as you like! We will meet at a popular birding hotspot within Washington Park, Green Point.


What to Bring: Weather Appropriate clothing and layers, sturdy shoes, water, snacks, binoculars (optional, we have some you can borrow)


Accessibility Note: There is parking along the loop trail to reach Greenpoint. The survey site is grassy, and slightly uneven with a gentle slope.
