Washington Park Camping
Washington Park is owned and operated by the City of Anacortes. The park sits on a peninsula at the west end of Fidalgo Island and is the closest to our Discovery Center.
The 220-acre city park features camping, a boat launch, and day use picnic sites.
There are 68 campsites with 43 available for reservations and 25 available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that reservations must be made 14 days in advance and they book up quickly!

Deception Pass State Park Camping
~ 12.0 miles from our Discovery Center
The park has 172 tent sites, 134 partial-hookup sites, five hiker/biker sites, one dump stations, 20 restrooms (four ADA) and 10 showers (four ADA).
Camping is located at three locations in the park, 18 tent sites and two utility sites are at Bowman Bay, seven tent sites and 49 utility sites at Quarry Pond, and 147 tent sites and 83 utility sites are at Cranberry Lake.
Maximum site length is 60 feet (limited availability).
