Service Description

Every year we do something special: a family campout on beautiful Fidalgo Island. It's a chance for the whole family to connect, explore, learn, and create memories that last a lifetime. The Quaker Cove Retreat Center is a magical setting for it. It allows us to leave the world behind for a weekend. We'll hold learning activities and unique experiences in Quaker Cove's lovely forests, beaches, and open spaces. If you're wondering: --Yes, there's a tree house like you've never seen before.  --Yes, a secret tunnel (echoes welcomed) leads you to the beach.  --Yes, we can canoe in the shallow waters of Similk Bay. --Yes, we have a ridiculously good selection of beach kites. --Yes, we'll create an experience you can't find anywhere else. For accommodations, the center has 4 rustic and quaint cabins tucked into the forest for an additional fee. Or, plenty of space to throw up a tent. We'll enjoy simple camp style meals together. We'll roast apples and s'mores over a campfire. We'll host games and activities that guide your family into a deeper understanding and connection with nature. These experiences will be rooted in natural science, mindfulness, positive values, and good old-fashioned fun.  Our children aren't in our homes forever (well, depending on real estate prices). It's during their childhood that we can co-create lasting memories and help guide them into the higher versions of themselves.  But, we find this process happens best when the family is involved. Cancellation Policy

In the event of any cancellation, regardless of when the cancellation is initiated, the credit card processing fee will not be refunded (3%). Cancellation Refunds vary by course: Spring, Fall, and Winter Programs: if cancelled 5 days prior to the course, the class fee will be refunded to you, less the credit card processing fee (3%). If cancelled any time after that, there will not be a refund for this course. Summer Programs: Cancellations 91+ days prior to session start date = Refundable less CC processing fees & $250 deposit Cancellations between 61 and 90 days prior to session start date = Refundable less CC processing fees & 50% fee of full tuition Cancellations between 0 and 60 days prior to session start date = non-refundable Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather or personal emergencies. All cancellations must be submitted in writing and must be received in the above time frames. ____ The Pulse: There are no refunds available for our virtual continuing education program. ____ Fundraiser Ecotours: There are no refunds for this trip.
