Service Description

Join us for a special Locals Night on the Salish Sea — a relaxed, community-focused wildlife cruise designed for our local community. Come meet your neighbors — both human and sea — and discover the incredible wildlife right in our own backyard. We’ll explore nearby waters and rocky shorelines in search of seals, seabirds, porpoises, and other seasonal wildlife. Every trip is unique, and our naturalists and captain will guide the journey while sharing stories, local knowledge, and insights about the Salish Sea ecosystem. This is more than a wildlife trip — it’s an opportunity to connect with your community, enjoy an evening on the water, and experience the beauty of the Salish Sea together. Locals Night is open to those who live, work, or regularly spend time in Anacortes and surrounding communities. Perfect for locals, families, and anyone who loves this place we call home. All participants will receive a post-trip wildlife report and species checklist to remember the evening. 🛥 Vessel: Koinonia — a 48-foot vessel with cozy indoor seating, outdoor viewing decks, and space for up to 40 passengers. Your ticket supports our nonprofit mission to connect students and community members with the Salish Sea — helping more people experience these waters for the very first time.
